Websites

So now that we are coming to an end with this project, we feel comfortable enough to give the whole thing to the client. This is the point in which we are, we just gave the website to the client. We feel as though they will love the site. The twitter roll works on all platforms, the google calendar is in order, all is as they asked for and more.

so we are presenting to the class our website today. We have everything falling right in place. Things are going very good. Our designs are finishing up and the codes are flowing in. I am very grateful for our team we have really taken ownership of our positions and are taking care of the work.

Yeahh

So here are two pages we worked on, one is the hours of operation, and the 404. For the hours of operation we wanted to extend the background image to fill the whole screen so you are enveloped within the scene. We anted to do this with all the backgrounds. Now we are in the sweep of getting all the pages designed and coded.

So now we are at a point where we are designing our pages and setting in our code to make everything webready. Phil wanted to see some designed templates for our pages and so right now i am designing and finishing this. We have come to the conclusion that we will use a JavaScript system that will transfer our pages. we will have a header that will have our transferable pages. Now is the time for code, lets go!

Trying to come up with a platform to have the rest of the website come together as. We wanted something very stylized and fun. We still need to add more elements, so m excited for the next time we get to work on it. Oh and yes i know you cannot see the type very well, this is just a positional ideas/sketch

Meeting our client today and giving them specific design templates so they wont have a confusion on what to choose. We were thinking of a site with a news roll and section of the site part of the main frame to direct to specific links such as calendar, etc. Once we talk to them i feel like we can start to pull the trigger on the design and full structure.

Group!!

My Group is great, we have Angela who is very great at networking and reminding to get task done. We have Phong who loves to seek out ways to make things work (he does code!!!!!), and me who is little and small. My team is the best, better than any other and I am very grateful we can all get together to help out this coffee shop. We meet this Tuesday with the owners of the coffee shop where we will discuss all the design desires and site necessities.

OUr REdesign

So getting started we have chosen to re-desgin the website for a coffee shop named felicitous. http://www.felicitouscoffee.com/. Check out the site its really kinda a slapped together looking blog. They actually have expressed to me that they were in the middle of looking for a web designer to put together something legitimate and that it was an answer to prayer we stepped in. During this project I will be the project manager, Angela will be the asset manager and Phong will be the architect.

Comic book layout(box like)

So i was thinking of having a solid background that lend an eye to that comic book theme, maybe some of his own work. With pannels to direct one to the other pages of the site. One for bio one for portfolio work.
